A picture perfect wedding at Painshill
Fancy a Painshill wedding? Mitesh Purohit and Jasmine Grewal chose to have their wedding reception here at Painshill and we’re sure glad they did. The couple made both the grounds and marquee beautiful with their gorgeous gowns, saris and suits. In addition to this, the décor inside the venue which mainly consisted of vibrant blues, whites and golds all wonderfully complimented each other. Blossom trees were also wonderfully displayed in the centre of each table – creating the perfect finishing touch for a spring wedding.
The two newly-weds captured their special day with some stunning shots taken here in the gardens and the grounds in Surrey. Luckily the sun decided to break out from the clouds and shine just in time for the photoshoot. The Gothic Temple, which is one of the greatest 18th century landscape gardens representing the Augustan phase of the Serpentine Style, is a great architectural feature for couples to have photos taken in at Painshill. Originally, the gardens were owned and designed by Charles Hamilton between 1738 and 1733, set in a wooded valley. In addition to the Gothic Temple, Painshill also offers picturesque photos at the Chinese bridge, a ruined abbey, a Turkish tent and a remarkable grotto.
Throughout the duration of the photoshoot, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on arrival. Once guests had been seated for dinner, our events team revealed the curtain and the Bride and Groom had a wonderful warming entrance into the venue. After being applauded by their guests and the starters had been served, the couple went on to cut their cake and have their first dance. The Bride and Groom opted for both a disco and a live band, which created the perfect dancing atmosphere! We were delighted to have hosted this wedding here at The Conservatory at Painshill.
